Charities

Anneliese Designs is committed to supporting the communities
in which we live and work. Over the past ten years, Anneliese Designs
has supported the following charities.

FightSMA Canada
FightSMA was created to accelerate the search for a treatment and cure for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), the number-one inherited cause of infant death. Fight SMA Canada is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization, set up in 2000 by Tracy and Shawn Lacey. The charity was initially named “Tori’s Buddies”, after Tracy’s four year old daughter Tori, who has SMA. The foundation is a registered Canadian charity which is 100% volunteer driven. The money raised by FightSMA Canada goes directly towards accelerating the research to find a cure or treatment and to help the families that have been devastated by this disease. Visit FightSMA Canada for more information.

Petissimo
Petissimo is an annual concert event presenting a diverse set of musical genres, in support of a pet related cause. In 2015 the second annual Petissimo concert was in support of the New Animal Shelter for Uxbridge/Scugog. It is Petissimo’s goal to support one Pet-Focussed community event each year based on outlining needs within the region, and to promote and celebrate Canadian musicians.
